Specially designed to nestle into a natural rock formation, this spa was installed in its setting using hand-sculpted shotcrete concrete.
The natural rock formation was first stabilized using the shotcrete concrete and rebar, then the bowl of the spa was formed using the same process.
The artificial rocks were then sculpted to form the adjustable-flow waterfalls, planting areas, patios, outcrops and benches.
The spa has a 400,00-Btu heater, is completely automatic and can be controlled from an eight-button spa-side remote, the indoor control panel or a telephone link. The homeowner can call from his or her car while traveling home, set the temperature, turn on the fiber-optic lighting and make sure everything is just to his or her liking to sit, relax and take in the atmosphere when arriving home.
