Tarzan would have been perfectly content to swing right into any part of this pool and spa combination, which resembles a jungle-like lagoon. To create this atmosphere and make a base for some magnificent waterfalls, Natural Design had to move a steep hillside back more than 20 feet.
The waterfalls, some of which cascade down 17 feet of rock, are adjustable in flow, allowing the homeowner to change the sound and shape of the water. Bathers can also use the waterfalls in the shallow end of the pool for an incredible massage. In order to form bench seating, the builders raised the rockwork along the side of the pool about 18 inches and sculpted it to leave room for landscaping between the flagstone and the water s edge. The project s walkways lead to multilevel patios for relaxing and enjoying the soothing sounds of the wilderness.
