Drew MengDrew MengJacuzzi Group Worldwide Announces New Executive

Jacuzzi Group Worldwide, a global manufacturer and distributor of branded bath and hot tub products, has announced the appointment of Drew Meng as president, North American spa business. Meng will have direct responsibility for the Jacuzzi Hot Tubs, Sundance Spas, Dimension One Spas and ThermoSpas businesses.

“Drew is very well prepared for this new challenge, having produced excellent results in various leadership roles in sales, marketing and product development since joining Jacuzzi Group Worldwide in 2008,” says Bob Rowan, CEO, Jacuzzi Group Worldwide.

Since joining the company in 2008 as vice president of marketing for both the Jacuzzi Brand and Sundance Spas Brand, Meng has held various key marketing and sales leadership roles throughout the organization. He comes to Jacuzzi having previously advanced through the marketing organization at Black & Decker, which he joined as product manager in 2000 and departed as vice president of marketing in 2008. He replaces Peter Munk, who is stepping down and leaving the Jacuzzi organization.

Zodiac Holds Golf Tournament To Support Warrior Foundation

Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of automatic pool cleaners and equipment based in North County San Diego, is holding its third annual golf tournament today to support the military men and women who have served our country. All proceeds will benefit the Warrior Foundation.

Organized by Zodiac’s employee volunteer organization, Providing Alternative Tomorrows with Hope, the golf tournament is the company’s latest outreach initiative to raise funds and awareness for issues that impact San Diego communities.
 
“Giving back to the local community is a key part of our company’s culture,” said Jill Rooks, director of information technologies and customer operations, and head of the P.A.T.H. program. “As a San Diego-based organization, supporting the military is near and dear to our hearts, and we’re honored to organize this annual tournament to benefit those who’ve served our country.”
 
To date, Zodiac’s golf tournaments have raised more than $60,000 for the Warrior Foundation. This year, proceeds will go to the Warrior Foundation’s Freedom Station, a housing facility that provides injured veterans with the support they need to successfully make the transition from military service to civilian life.

APi, the company behind E-Z POOL, REVIVE! and REVEAL, among others, is growing. To better serve its expanding customer base, the company is adding a new face to the team: Joel Borzotta, who will serve as APi’s Northeast business manager. Borzotta brings more than 14 years of industry experience to APi, namely in the retail and service fields.

“We know he is a great addition to our company and will provide [our customers] with the level of energy, service and expertise you are accustomed to from APi,” company representatives said in a press release.

Endless Pools Renews Commitment to U.S. Masters Swimming

After more than a decade of support, Endless Pools, a manufacturer of swim-in-place technology, has renewed its commitment to U.S. Masters Swimming with a multi-year agreement aimed at advancing the shared goals of the two organizations.

Evosus Promotes Amposta

Evosus Business Management Software is pleased to announce the promotion of Adrian Amposta to the position of solutions engineer. In his new position, Adrian is responsible for handing the lion’s share of the Evosus software demonstrations for current and prospective clients. Amposta has an extensive training background on Evosus products, having spent the last three-plus years helping Evosus customers in the company’s support department.
