Kids enjoyed 'clowning around' with local firefighters.
Pool and spa industry sponsors including Allied Innovations, Spa Inspectors/Spa Supplies, Pentair, Jandy, Hayward, Raypak and Zodiac Pool Systems helped the Ritch’s Raiders BBQ Team create a wonderful experience recently for some very deserving children in the Houston area.
On the morning of Friday, February 26, busloads of special needs children from various schools in the Houston area were driven to NRG Stadium, where the Ritch’s Raiders BBQ Team hosted a full morning of activities for the group to enjoy amidst the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off, all with the crucial assistance of pool and spa industry sponsors and volunteers.
The morning was filled with performances by some very talented singers and clowns, and the children had the opportunity to meet and visit with celebrities such as Bob Tallman, the Voice of the HLS&R, Cactus Jack from 93Q radio station and some of Houston’s finest Firefighters.
AQUA applauds the efforts of these pool and spa industry professional to create opportunities for kids to enjoy themselves in a positive, fun environment — it's almost like building a pool!
