Cover Care Donates to Red Cross Aquatics Program

Cover Care

Cover Care, LLC, a national service company specializing in the installation and repair of automatic pool covers, made a $10,000 donation to the Aquatics Centennial Swim Lesson and Water Safety Program — an organization that provides families access to swim lessons and water safety education throughout the U.S., specifically in community areas where the drowning rate is high.

“Safety is central to our mission at Cover Care,” says Mitch Valdez, field service supervisor at Cover Care. Cover Care prides itself on being first responders to prevent damages to automatic pool covers. “We also realize pools are safer for those who know how to swim and are trained in water safety, so we wanted to support the Aquatics Centennial Program for communities that can’t afford swimming lessons.”

The $10,000 check was presented to the American Red Cross, who added drowning prevention to its mission 100 years ago, in October at its Indiana headquarters.
