New Director of Membership Joins NESPA Team

The Northeast Spa and Pool Association is excited to be adding a new member to our staff team. Taylor Griffith has joined the association in the newly created director of membership position.

Taylor brings over 10 years of experience in association management to this role. Working for organizations like Society of Hospital Medicine and National Board of Medical Examiners, her experience includes member and volunteer engagement, committee and executive board management and growth of organizational programs like chapters and interest groups.

For over 60 years, NESPA has delivered on its promise to provide members with the tools and support they need to be successful in the pool & spa industry.  With many members being with us from the beginning and new members joining each month, NESPA is excited to improve our membership experience and introduce new companies to the association under Taylor’s leadership.

“This a great opportunity for NESPA to continue to grow our membership, deliver real member value and improve the volunteer and leadership experience for those in the industry that step up and get involved with all we are doing,” shared NESPA Executive Director, Dominick Mondi.

Prior to her career, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Service Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.  In addition to serving as a director on Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives Board of Directors, Taylor serves as the chair of the membership committee. With her oversite, the membership committee has developed formal committee procedures including succession planning, created a new student member category, distributed a member survey to identify areas of focus, launched a new series of networking events and, most recently, created a member mentor program for early career or new-to-the-industry professionals.

In addition to membership, Taylor will work to grow the association’s volunteer committees and providing additional resources and support to our four chapters.

“As the newest member of the NESPA team, I look forward to working directly with members and soon-to-be members sharing with them the many benefits of NESPA membership and all the ways that they can get involved in building a stronger pool and spa industry," says Griffith.
