From its reputation as the East Coast’s Las Vegas to its historical role as the inspiration behind Monopoly, Atlantic City is known as a city of chances. But if you’re looking for a sure bet, then look no further: The Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show is for you.

“With over 430 exhibitors on the floor and more than 75 seminars in our education program, the 2013 Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show is your destination for the groundbreaking products and cutting edge education designed to build your business,” says Show Manager Trish McCormick. “The response from exhibitors and attendees to our program has been resounding and we are on pace to grow the show this year.”

While the East Coast was affected by Hurricane Sandy, organizers say the show is forging ahead as scheduled without any changes. The numbers back them up: With 103,000 square feet of exhibit space and 11,000 professionals slated to attend (and counting), the Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show is proving to be resilient in the face of headwinds.

New to the show this year is the Connection Center, a space for visitors to get powered up and connected — literally. Complementary charging stations for smartphones and other electronics are provided, as well as live social media streams that offer up-to-the-minute show updates. And don’t forget to try out the latest business and industry apps while you’re there.

Looking to sharpen your skills? The 2013 show boasts more than 50 technical seminars that tackle subjects for everyone from novice to master. Onsite courses will take place for certification programs, including the National Swimming Pool Foundation’s Certified Pool/Spa Operator, the National Plasterers Start Up Certification, ASA-ACI Nozzleman Certification and the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals Certified Building Professional and Service Professional Courses.

For the business-savvy attendees, the show also offers 25 business courses that address profitability. From electronic marketing and social media to contract writing, pricing strategies and training strategies, you’re bound to pick up new tips that boost your bottom line.

Ready to take your chances? Join us in Atlantic City, where the odds are in your favor.
