Evosus Expands Leadership Team

Evosus Business Management Software, makers of an Enterprise software program designed for the pool, spa and hearth industries, has hired David Weisong to the position of vice president of software development and Doug Evans as Vice President of Product. The company says both hires are a direct result of the company’s strategic growth plan to offer more products and enhancements in 2017 to pool, spa and hearth business owners.

David has already been instrumental in pushing the launch of EMV credit card processing, launching the company’s new Evosus Analytics program and accelerating the development of future mobile and web-based applications. Evosus Analytics received the 3rd place award in the “Best New Product” category at PSP Expo in New Orleans this past November. Weisong previously worked as the director of DevOps at Virreo, a company that develops financial industry-focused, software solutions, and as CTO for HomeLab, a U.S. residential energy monitoring software company.

“David has become an invaluable part of the Evosus team and we are pleased to have him as the VP in charge of software development,” says Curt Germundson, CEO of Evosus.

Doug Evans has joined Evosus in an effort to further the growth path of Evosus software applications by identifying appropriate new features, changes and even new product offerings to better support the pool, spa and hearth business owner. Doug previously served as senior director of product management at Accela and CTO/VP of product and engineering at Springbrook Software. He has also advised corporations who had reached pivotal growth phases in product development and strategic SaaS initiatives.

“Doug comes to Evosus with a wealth of knowledge in taking enterprise software solutions to the next level,” Germundson says. “We are excited to see what happens when Doug takes that experience and aligns it to the goals of this industry as well as our business.”
