The Hauppauge, N.Y., company will roll out the pool cover industry's first mobile application for dealers in July. The web-based, password-protected LOOP-LOC app is cross-platform independent, meaning it can be accessed through any phone, laptop or computer with a web browser. Among many features, it will enable registered dealers to submit orders for stock-size safety pool covers, fencing and any necessary hardware, check the status of their already-submitted orders and estimates, request additional sales tools, and access a library of helpful materials such as measuring and installation guides.
In addition, when measuring a pool for a form-fitting cover, dealers at the jobsite can simply log in to their web account via their device, open a new job, complete the online form, type in their pool measurements, and submit the job.
"With a business as seasonal as ours, we recognize time is always at a premium for our dealers," LOOP-LOC President and CEO LeeAnn Donaton-Pesta said. "Armed with our new web-based mobile app, dealers at their customers' locations can submit new orders and pool measurements immediately, using the smart phone that's already in their pocket. The sooner we receive the order, the sooner we can deliver, which results in happier customers for our dealers."
