Paragon Pools Sponsors YMCA Safety Around Water Program

Paragon Pools renewed its sponsorship of YMCA of Southern Nevada’s Safety Around Water Program. The sponsorship is part of the pool company’s commitment to water safety education in association with its award-winning Float Like A Duck water safety initiative.

“The YMCA of Southern Nevada has been a long-standing partner with our Float Like A Duck program,” says Joseph M. Vassallo, president of Paragon Pools. “When they invited us to participate, we welcomed the opportunity to provide financial support for such an important cause.”

In 2016, the YMCA of Southern Nevada launched a Safety Around Water pilot program in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club. The program consists of an eight-lesson series where youths learn swimming and safety skills. Four sessions were held during the summer of 2016 with a total of 229 students completing the program.
