POOLCORP announces its acquisition of the assets of Chem Quip as of December 29, 2017.
Chem Quip is a Sacramento-based distributor of equipment, chemicals and supplies to residential and commercial swimming pool customers; it operates five sales and distribution centers located in Northern and Central California.

Adding the Chem Quip team and sales locations to the POOLCORP network strengthens our ability to serve customers in the important East San Francisco Bay and Northern California markets and enhances our market leading position in California, the largest swimming pool market in the U.S.,” says Manny Perez de la Mesa, POOLCORP President and
CEO.
POOLCORP operates 346 sales centers in North America, Europe, South America and Australia, through which it distributes more than 160,000 national brand and private label products to roughly 100,000 wholesale customers.
