Most hotels have one pool and spa for the whole building — and if you're lucky, maybe a sauna, too.
The Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson in Malaysia, however, is stepping up the hotel pool game by offering one dipping pool for each guest room.
And with 643 guest rooms, that means 643 small, individual pools.
Because of this, the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson also holds two Guinness World Records: "The Most Swimming Pools in a Resort" (at 643) and "The Most Overwater Villas in a Single Resort." The resort is home to 522 overwater villas which, when seen from an aerial view, are shaped like the hotel's namesake flower.

A third-party contractor verified the information in October 2016 and the Guinness World Records were awarded in March.
No word yet on how the Lexis Hibiscus plans to maintain all those pools.
