Halco Lighting Technologies, a provider of lamp, ballast and luminaire solutions, welcomes Samir Shah as Vice President/General Manager for J&J Electronics. Halco Lighting acquired J&J Electronics in November 2016.
Reporting to President and CEO Kim Cook, Shah will be assuming leadership of the J&J business unit as Jim Rafferty, current acting President of J&J Electronics, transitions out of the business over the next several months.
Shah joins Halco with over 25 years of general management leadership experience and was most recently the global marketing and international sales executive for Rain Bird Corporation and has held general management, business development, and engineering leadership roles for the past 16 years with them. Before Rain Bird, Shah held engineering leadership positions with Anheuser-Busch, GE Appliance and Ingersoll Rand.
