Pentair Supports National Water Safety Month as Program Sponsor

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) is pleased to announce that Pentair will once again serve as Program Sponsor for National Water Safety Month (NWSM) this May. Pentair will help reinforce the lifesaving message of the NWSM coalition and raise awareness of water safety best practices for families and aquatic facilities across the country.

NWSM began as a one-week awareness campaign in 2003 and, over the last 21 years, has grown into a national effort spearheaded by a dedicated coalition that includes PHTA, the American Red Cross, the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, and National Recreation and Park Association, and the World Waterpark Association. Every year, NWSM is supported by thousands of aquatics facilities, professionals and state governments who provide educational programs, public service announcements, government proclamations, dealer and aquatics business promotions, and the distribution of water safety materials, all designed to help prevent water-related fatalities, illnesses and injuries.
