Thursday Pools Expands Operations

Thursday Pools, manufacturer of innovative fiberglass pools, has just completed a second expansion of its manufacturing facility adding 40,500 square feet of space to provide a climate-controlled environment for its growing manufacturing operation. This follows a 40,000-square-foot expansion two and a half years ago, growing Thursday Pools to a total of just over 100,000 square feet.

Thursday Pools offers 28 different fiberglass pool molds, all designed and built in house. The expansion is to help the ever-increasing demand for its innovative products, including the industry’s only beach-entry fiberglass pool. 

"This has certainly been an adventure," says Bill Khamis, Thursday Pools CFO. "We opened our doors in 2010 and just added onto our facility two years ago, and we're still growing very rapidly. This is just the next step for us to support our dealers and meet the expanding demand for fiberglass pools.”

The expansion will result in more than double the total production and storage space, including a dedicated manufacturing area to produce the shells for the company’s new 2019 beach entry fiberglass pool designs, Grace and Sandal.
